Following a visit by the Hamburg scholarship holders to Kassel last November, the return visit to Hamburg took place on April 24 and 25, 2024. The Kassel scholarship holders were offered a varied program to get to know the city and the people of Hamburg better.
After a joint event organized by Haspa on the topic of pensions and insurance, they went to Veddel to visit the Peking, a museum ship. During a personal tour, the participants learned a lot about the ship itself, but also about the history of seafaring. After a pizza at Schlüters, the students rounded off the evening in the Schanze. The next day, after a brief discussion with the Managing Director of the Studierendenwerk Hamburg, the students fortified themselves in the newly opened Philturm canteen. A subsequent guided tour organized by the Hamburg scholarship holders took them to the Elphi, through HafenCity, the HCU and to the Elbe beach. The varied program offered the scholarship holders plenty of time for a personal exchange.
