At the Campus Festival of the University of Hamburg last week, the Loki-Schmidt-Stiftung stand was busy building nesting boxes for birds! The kits were provided by the foundation and could be assembled in around 20 minutes using the instructions provided. Some of the tenants of our student residences also took part, and the nesting boxes will now be given a place of honour in their homes.
Our Managing Director Sven Lorenz, Chief Sustainability Officer of the University of Hamburg Prof Dr Laura Marie Edinger-Schons and Prof Dr Jetta Frost, Vice President of the University of Hamburg, also stopped by the stand on this occasion and assembled nesting boxes themselves – a great project for nature!
