Award ceremony at the Chamber of Commerce: Last Thursday, the Studierendenwerk Hamburg received the ‘Hamburg Family Seal’ from the ‘Hamburg Alliance for Families’ - an initiative of the Hamburg Senate, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and the Hamburg Chamber of Crafts. The seal is awarded for a family-friendly company policy.
With flexible working time models and part-time jobs, Studierendenwerk Hamburg caters to different life situations. It supports its employees in reconciling family and career. In addition, working at the Studierendenwerk also includes a company pension scheme, company health promotion, company reintegration after long-term illness and the opportunity to take part in Hamburg's university sports programme. All employees are covered by the collective labour agreement for the public sector - any overtime is fully compensated by time recording.
