Among other things, the scholarship holders visited Hamburg's State Representation in Berlin, the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection and the German Bundestag and learned a lot about how our democracy works. The visit to the German Resistance Memorial made it clear that democracy cannot be taken for granted.
After Ms Aydan Özoğuz, former Minister of State of the Federal Government for Migration, Refugees and Integration, presented the first Hamburg Stipendium in September 2018, we would now like to thank her for making it possible for the scholarship holders to take part in this excursion.
