They were welcomed by Jürgen Allemeyer, Managing Director of the Studierendenwerk Hamburg. The guests were Ian Karan, the patron of the Hamburg Stipendium and Bjeen Alhassan, winner of the National Integration Award 2020, both of whom told the scholarship holders about their (previous) careers and current projects. The scholarship holders spoke about themselves, their experiences of studying during Corona and their social commitment. Afterwards, everyone chatted while enjoying delicious bowls and drinks on the premises of one of our refectories with sufficient distance between them.
