Modern, sustainable, fair: We are building a new hall of residence!

In Elbbrückenquartier, we will start building a new residential complex for students and trainees at the end of 2022.

In the eastern part of HafenCity, we will start building a new residential complex at the end of 2022 - sustainably and according to the most modern housing and environmental standards. This will create 367 new places in the residence halls at fair, affordable rents, including

  • a variety of common rooms for meeting, learning and exchanging ideas
  • modern, fully furnished rooms
  • bicycle garage with bike sharing
  • a green roof terrace with the best view of HafenCity
  • directly above the Digital Art Museum - Europe's first digital museum.

Thanks to the central location, the future residents can quickly reach many different university locations.

With this new building project, we are focusing in particular on the combination of modern living and climate protection.
