As part of a Social-Lunch-Aktionswoche, donations were collected in Hamburg's refectories. With the purchase of a campaign meal, 50 cents went to a social project, this time for young adults whose center of life was or is the street: "MOMO Hamburg". The project is sponsored by basis & woge e.V..
In a workshop on the topic of "MOMO und das Aufwachsen in der Jugendhilfe", the scholarship holders had the opportunity to meet representatives of the project. This resulted in an intensive, constructive and valuable exchange for all participants. We thank the MOMOs for this insight and the successful discussion of this topic.
"Our now 100-year tradition and commitment to equal opportunities is characterized by social engagement. With the Social Lunch Week, we are giving an impulse for meaningful social support: when the Mensa guests choose the action dish, they are not only supporting the "MOMOs" as a mouthpiece for adolescents and young adults who often grow up far away from families and regular services in Hamburg and the association basis & woge e. V. as the sponsor of this project, but also social cohesion in Hamburg."
