The "Wolken" group chose the theme "Animals". They created beautiful boxes and aquariums, which the group displayed decoratively in the cloakroom.
Together with their parents, the children and teachers of the group visited the "Wildpark Schwarze Berge". This excursion with the family has become a ritual at the end of the kindergarten year.
The preschool children had chosen the current topic of "war", as the situation in Ukraine is very much on the minds of the older children. The project included a trip to the museum and a visit to the bunker with a guided tour. The teachers bought children's literature to go with the theme.
This week, fire safety training is taking place in all elementary groups with the "Brandmauer Nord". The children learn through play how fires can be prevented and practise evacuation in an emergency. The 3 – 6 year olds particularly enjoy trying on the fire brigade equipment.
