We would like to draw your attention to the following iXNet info event on the topic of "Doing a doctorate with disabilities", on Monday, 17.04.2023 from 13:30 to 14:30:

In the past two decades, the number of university graduates with disabilities has increased significantly. It is not uncommon for many people from this target group to obtain a doctorate as well as an academic degree. For those interested in doing a doctorate and those who want to pursue a career in academia, the question arises: Do you want to do a doctorate or not? After all, it is often a question of reconciling one's own disabilities/chronic illnesses with the demands and challenges of a doctoral project.

Dr. Jana Bauer from the University of Cologne, project leader of the completed PROMI project "Doctorate Inclusive", and Dr. Tatjana Schweizer from the Inclusive Expert Network (iXNet) would like to inform about their experiences from PROMI and their very personal experiences in the realisation of their doctoral process at an iXNet info event.

Those interested in doing a doctorate and doctoral students with disabilities will also have the opportunity to ask the two speakers their questions on the topic of "doctorates with disabilities".
