As you know, you have to submit the transcript of records (§ 48 BAföG) in the 5th semester so that you can continue to receive BAföG. For all those who are currently in their 4th semester, there is the option of submitting the transcript of records now. This must contain the usual achievements over 3 semesters and must be submitted by the fourth month of your 4th semester at the latest. This has the advantage of speeding up the processing of the application for continued funding and thus avoiding an interruption in payment if necessary. It also eliminates the need to submit the transcript of records after the 4th semester.
