On 27 and 28 November 2023, the students were able to gain insights into the SPEAD young talent program and the "Open for diversity - united against exclusion" initiative, among other things, and spoke with CEO Mario Mehren. This year, the scholarship holders of the Kassel Stipendium, which was launched this year based on the Hamburg model, were also present. A guided tour of the University of Kassel campus, prepared by the Kassel Stipendium scholarship holders, and a visit to an exhibition at Wilhelmshöhe Palace rounded off the program. A great opportunity for the young people to expand their network.
"We are delighted that we were able to be guests of Wintershall Dea again this year. It was a great opportunity for the scholarship holders of the Hamburg Stipendium to take a look behind the scenes of the sponsor and to network with the scholarship holders of the newly established Kassel Stipendium." - Mirijam Wenzel, advisor at Studierendenwerk Hamburg
"I was particularly impressed by the fact that Wintershall Dea's diverse program not only led to new friendships among the scholarship holders of the Hamburg Stipendium, but also with those of the Kassel Stipendium. In addition to the cordial dinner together, I appreciated the stimulating conversation with Mario Mehren and the fascinating tour of the "Old Masters" gallery in Wilhelmshöhe Palace. From there you also had a wonderful view of the snow-white city." - Ngoc Anh Nguyen To Thi, Hamburg Stipendium scholarship holder
