We mourn the passing of Professor Dr Karl-Werner Hansmann
Former member of the Supervisory Board of the Studierendenwerk Hamburg
We mourn the passing of Prof. Dr Karl-Werner Hansmann, Professor of Business Administration at the University of Hamburg, who has died at the age of 82.
Professor Hansmann has served in an honorary capacity for the Studierendenwerk Hamburg since 2005. He began his role on 26 October 2005 at the constituent meeting of the Representatives’ Assembly, chaired by Professor Fischer, and was elected to the Supervisory Board at that meeting. Prof. Dr Hansmann served two terms as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Studierendenwerk Hamburg and stepped down from this role in the summer of 2014.
We would like to thank Prof. Dr Hansmann for his invaluable contribution to the Studentenwerk and will remember him as a positive, considerate and extremely caring person.
