A home for you and your child/children with a great community - that's what the Bornstraße residence offers you! This housing complex is specially designed for female students with children - single parents or students living in a partnership with one or more children can move in.
You can furnish the unfurnished flats according to your taste and needs. The kitchens and bathrooms are shared by a maximum of 3 tenants, some flats also have their own shower bathrooms. You can study undisturbed in the bright study room. We have set up a playroom for your child/children. The residential complex is close to the Bornstraße daycare centre, which is located directly in the building. Two other daycare centres run by the Studierendenwerk are just as close by: the KinderCampus daycare centre and the Hallerstrasse daycare centre.
What you can't put a price on is the sense of community in Bornstraße: here you meet young mothers who are going through similar experiences as you. You help each other in the house - you all bring the willingness to live community with you! There are regular joint activities.
You do not have to worry about a TV connection (cable). The house manager is close by as a contact person.
Your rent of 391,16 € - 800,10 € (monthly, per person) includes utilities (water, heating), cable connection, staircase cleaning, services in the vicinity (house manager, welcome tutors can be reached via the Amalie-Dietrich-Haus) as well as leisure activities. Electricity must be paid by the tenants themselves, as well as internet.
The rental prices are calculated according to the square metres.
The Bornstraße housing estate is centrally located, the underground stations Hallerstraße (U1), Schlump (U2, U3) and Hoheluftbrücke (U3) are within walking distance. It is only a stone's throw to metro bus line 5. It's only a short walk to various universities, the city centre, parks and the Alster lake. Supermarkets, bakeries and kiosks are just a few minutes away.
