The Grindelallee residential complex is located in the immediate vicinity of the University of Hamburg campus and metro bus lines 4 and 5. The Dammtor train station can also be reached quickly.
The housing complex has 41 furnished single rooms, including 7 apartments suitable for the disabled: 3 with shower bath and 4 with shower bath and kitchen. All rooms have internet, telephone and cable TV connection.
On a total of 5 floors, 5 - 10 students live in each hallway, each sharing 2 shower bathrooms and a separate toilet, as well as the fully equipped kitchen and a common room. In the basement area there is a bar with a music system, which is run by the residents themselves. Washing machines and dryers (coin-operated) are also available. There is a bicycle cellar, but only a few car parking spaces, preferably for the disabled students.
