Apply for the Hamburg Scholarship by 3 May 2026:
The Studierendenwerk Hamburg will once again be awarding the Hamburg Scholarship for the 2026/2027 academic year. The aim is to support committed students who wish to successfully complete their studies under challenging conditions – and in doing so, to create real opportunities for the future. Scholarship recipients receive a monthly grant of 200 euros. In addition, they benefit from a varied support programme featuring workshops, events and a strong network of contacts from the business and wider community.
The Hamburg Scholarship is aimed at students with a refugee or migrant background whose parents did not study at a higher education institution in Germany. Since its launch in 2018, the programme has been promoting greater educational equity and social inclusion in Hamburg.
