The Café (at Mittelweg) is only open for staff and students of the University of Hamburg. Other guests are welcome to visit our nearby cafés and refectories: among others Café dell'Arte, Blattwerk and Mensa Studierendenhaus.

You can expect coffee specialities prepared with fair-trade coffee from organic farming, hot lunch dishes and a variety of savoury snacks such as bagels, baguettes, salads, muffins, cakes and soft drinks. Check out our daily updated menu. In summer, ice-cold coffee specialities round off the offer. Everything is also available to go.
Enjoy the special ambience of the café. Lounge corners invite you to work and relax.
